Enactus will be working directly with Athens High School’s Allison Ricket and Andrea Anderson in developing an organization that serves to connect students with community networks. Our goal is to increase collaboration between educational facilities, the community, and local businesses through problem-based learning scenarios that foster authentic learning in the classroom.  Enactus’ involvement will take many forms, ranging from building and maintaining personal relationships with businesses willing to participate in the program, branding the program through marketing and advertising efforts, building a website, and identifying sustainable ways to raise capital to be used for mentoring, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and internships for students.
